Meet Kiley - our founder
When Kiley set out to write her first book, she quickly discovered that writing—while deeply rewarding—can feel quite isolating. She craved a community where she could share her work, receive honest feedback, brainstorm through plot twists, and find encouragement during those inevitable moments of doubt. She envisioned a community where writers could come together not just as peers, but as a family—where everyone knows your name, understands your challenges, and celebrates your wins. When she couldn’t find the perfect fit, she decided to create it herself.
Kiley’s passion for storytelling, combined with her drive to cultivate meaningful connections, shapes every aspect of Standing Session. Her vision is simple yet profound: to provide a sanctuary for writers at any stage of their journey, offering the tools, camaraderie, and inspiration needed to keep moving forward—one standing session at a time.
